Financial Analyst I
Responsibilities:
The Analyst in this role will be responsible for supporting the
day-to-day activities for American Express' Global Commercial Card
Client Incentives process, as well as various strategic business
analyses across the organization. GCC's Client Incentives process
encompasses one of the largest expenses in GCC's P&L, and has a direct
impact on the business' interactions with its clients. Specifically, the
Analyst in this role will be responsible for the planning, testing, and
implementation of process enhancements and changes required to keep pace
with GCC's evolving business strategies. To accomplish this, the Analyst
will assist in coordinating the efforts of groups across the globe,
including; ~20 professionals in Global Operations Accounting in India,
GCC's Controllership and LFO organizations, Technologies, Operational
Risk Management and various other groups that play a role in this global
process.

Required Qualifications:
- Highly motivated individual with an ability to drive results and work
with ambiguity
- Proven track record of managing / navigating wide-ranging
organizations and processes
- Strong organizational skills required
- Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written and through
presentations. Ability to break down complex ideas into understandable
and actionable messages
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to handle high pressure environment with aggressive deadlines
- Track record of innovation and though leadership in previous roles
- 1-3+ years of relevant work experience
