Financial Analyst I Job
Responsibilities:
Revolution Money, a subsidiary of American Express, is a next-generation

The Financial Analyst will build and modify business models and
financial projections and perform regular and ad-hoc analysis focused on
the business metrics, general performance, and targeted analysis on
issues that arise to the attention of Management.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Build and maintain financial models, including pro forma financial
projections
- Pro Forma analysis on new products, ventures, and scenarios.
- Business Decision Modeling and scenario gaming.
- Design reports that will allow for decision-making and comparing
options and impacts.
- Implement management reporting including rolling monthly statements,
year on year and quarterly analysis and variance to budget and forecast
analysis.

Required Qualifications:
- Must have excellent quantitative skills and thorough knowledge of
spreadsheet software (Excel), including formulas and functions
- Experience in a role requiring financial modeling in the past is
desirable, prefer background as an investment banking or research
analyst or associate at an investment bank, private equity fund, or high
growth business unit
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment that is
typical of Start-up Entrepreneurial-style companies.
- The ideal candidate is well spoken, reliable, responsible,
detailed-oriented, and a highly organized individual who is capable of
handling multiple tasks.
- Uses relevant facts, data and analytical tools to draw meaningful and
accurate conclusions.
- Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw
valid conclusions.
- Provides objective and balanced value add analysis for internal
customers- objective.
- Must be individual contributor.
- Must have proven quantitative skills and knowledge.
- Basic capabilities with presentation software including PowerPoint.
- Strong academic credentials; or related experience in Business,
Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.), finance /accounting from a
four-year college or university preferred; or any Analytical degree such
as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics; 1-4 years related job
experience.
